Happy Birthday Jane Fonda

A Happy Birthday to Jane Fonda who was born on this day in 1937 making her ... 21 we think.

Having a birthday that falls so close to Christmas must be tough for any child - parents and relatives cheating you our of your proper quota of presents and all that! We can only conjecture whether this experience contributed in some way to Jane's subsequent bolshiness.

Her birthday also falls on the solstice; longest or shortest day in the calendar year, depending on which hemisphere you're standing in.

Jane was born in New York to actor Henry Fonda and Francis Ford Seymour. She was named Lady Jayne Seymour Fonda but these days goes by Jane.
